Nic Gavalas circa 1950 

Nic Gavalas was born in Augusta, GA.
His father was a master tailor and made clothing for a living.

 

Nic 1950s 
On June 24th 1950, Nic opened a modest 800 sq. ft. store on Monroe
Street next to the Florida Capital in downtown Tallahassee.
 
3 Generations of Gavalas'
Today, over 70 years later, there are three stores in Tallahassee.
Now all of Nic's sons and grandsons are fulfilling his dream of dressing
the Southeast region with the finest quality clothing and service.

“Top 100 Men’s Store" in the U.S..
